The business

A new way to work.
The same shop to run.

CLB Jewellers is an independent jeweller making the transition from traditional shop management to a fully digital operation. Like many long-established independents, the ambition to modernise was there. They needed the right partner to make it happen without disrupting what was already working well.

When CLB came to Stockbox, the priority was clear: get the system live and the team fully confident, without the shop having to stop trading.

How Stockbox helped

A head start.
Then the confidence to take ownership.

01 / Getting ready

People in the shop.
Products ready for the website.

The Stockbox onboarding team worked closely with CLB, providing in-person training structured around their trading hours. Sessions gave the team time to get comfortable with the system while keeping daily operations running.

To give the new website a solid starting point, Stockbox’s photography and admin services took on 50 items. The team photographed and catalogued the pieces, helping CLB get ready to sell online sooner.

02 / Taking it forward

From hands-on help
to handling it themselves.

Once live, CLB’s dedicated e-commerce team member discovered how much they could do with the tools. They now handle their own admin and photography, getting more done than they could with manual processes.

Work that initially needed Stockbox’s support became something CLB could take ownership of and build on themselves.

Good systems should make clients feel capable, not dependent.

In their wordsCLB JewellersColchester

“Getting a new system live while keeping the shop open is tough. Stockbox sent their team to us in person, worked around our hours, and even helped us photograph and catalogue 50 items so we had a solid website from day one. Once we got going, we realised how intuitive everything is. Now our e-commerce person gets more done in a day than we ever thought possible. That is the power of good tools.”
